We work with various homeworker’s associations, cooperatives, and unions as well as NGOs who are helping homeworkers establish new organisations.

We are always interested to hear from new potential partners, that are either currently working with homeworkers or keen to develop such work.

  • Cividep

    Cividep is an NGO based in Bangalore, India. Cividep aims to safeguard the rights of workers and communities in a rapidly globalising world and to hold corporates accountable for their impacts on society. They help workers exercise freedom at work including freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.

  • Clean Clothes Campaign

    Clean Clothes Campaign (CCC) is an international campaign, focused on improving working conditions in the global garment and sportswear industries. There is a Clean Clothes Campaign in 9 European countries. These are Austria, Belgium (North and South), France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

  • Ethical Trading Initiative

    The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) is an alliance of companies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and trade union organisations. They exist to promote and improve the implementation of corporate codes of practice which cover supply chain working conditions. The ultimate goal is to ensure that the working conditions of workers producing for the UK market meet or exceed international labour standards.

  • International Labour Organisation

    The International Labour Organization (ILO) is the UN specialized agency which seeks the promotion of social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights. It was founded in 1919 and is the only surviving major creation of the Treaty of Versailles which brought the League of Nations into being and it became the first specialized agency of the UN in 1946.

  • Labour Behind The Label

    Labour Behind the Label (LBL) is a campaign that supports garment workers’ efforts worldwide to improve their working conditions. We educate consumers, lobby companies and government, raise awareness, and encourage international solidarity with workers.

  • Oxfam

    Oxfam International is a confederation of 12 organizations working together with over 3,000 partners in more than 100 countries to find lasting solutions to poverty, suffering and injustice.

  • SAVE

    SAVE (Social Awareness and Voluntary Education) is an established and well respected NGO, based in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. SAVE have a strong track record of campaigning for the rights of workers in the garment and textile sector. They have extensive experience in working against child labour. Their support for women working in the garment and textiles industry has included work with women living in company hostels (who may be subject to forced labour) and work with homeworkers.

  • SEWA

    SEWA (Self Employed Women’s Association) is a trade union in India, registered in 1972. It is an organisation of poor, self-employed women workers. These are women who earn a living through their own labour or small businesses.

  • Traidcraft Exchange

    Traidcraft Exchange is an international development NGO that uses the power of trade to bring about lasting solutions to poverty. Working with partners, we implement development programmes in Africa and South Asia, work directly with businesses to improve their supply chains, and campaign in the UK for justice and fairness in international trade.
