The Ethical Trading Initiative
The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) is a tripartite organisation based in the UK. It brings together companies, mainly big retailers, trade unions and NGOs. The stated aim is to improve conditions in global production chains.
HWW has been working within the ETI to raise awareness of conditions for informal workers, including homeworkers and to pressure companies to take steps to improve conditions.
