What We Do / Grassroots Projects
Grassroots projects which respond to the needs of organisers are one of the key ways HWW can support organising and advocacy work globally.
Between 2001-2004 we worked with partners to deliver a mapping project using action research tools, aimed at extending organising to new areas and sectors.
Between 2004-2006 we worked on 'Building Regional Centres', a project which aimed to build capacity in three regions: Latin America, South Asia and the Balkans region of Eastern Europe. In each region, HWW centres carried out training and coordinated organising and advocacy work with homeworkers.
