The text is too small for me to read – how can I change it?

If you are using a PC, then follow these simple instructions:

• Netscape Navigator: Go to View in your browser and select Increase font from the drop down menu.
• Internet Explorer: Go to View in your browser and then click Text size and select the size you require from the drop down list.
• Using Firefox: use CTRL with either + or - to increase or decrease the text size.

If you are using an Apple Mac, follow these simple instructions:

Using Safari or Firefox on an Apple Mac use the Apple key with either + or - to increase or decrease the text size.

If I find a mouse difficult to use how can I get around www.homeworkersww.org.uk?

You can use the arrow keys on your keyboard which will help you with scrolling up and down a page. You can also jump from the top to the bottom of the pages using the page up and page down buttons. You can navigate your way around to selected areas of our site using your keyboard.

Can I use my own stylesheet?

Yes you can. This website has been set up so it is very easy for you to over-ride the styles. You can use your own stylesheet by making one or downloading one suited to your needs from the web.

What if I don’t have Adobe Reader to read pdfs or Microsoft Word?

If you do not have Microsoft Word you can download a free Microsoft Word viewer from the Microsoft website.

If you do not have access to Adobe Reader you can download it from their website. Please let us know if you have further issues with either of these formats.

Low Graphics Version

We have implemented a Low Graphics Version of the site which works better for those with slower connections to the internet. It can also be useful for those who want bigger text to read without the distraction of images or applications on the website. The link for this is at the top next to the Accessibility link at the top of this page.
