In Indonesia, there are a number of different organisations working with homebased workers. HomeNet Indonesia has been working, in coordination with others in South East Asia, for a number of years. More recently, another organisation Humanika, based in Java, has done a mapping project to investigate different kinds of homework in three places in Java and the possibilities for forming organisations among homeworkers.
