The Textile, Clothing and Footwear Union of Australia has led a campaign to organise homeworkers in the clothing industry. They have a code of good practice for the employment of homeworkers, giving them equal treatment with factory workers.

The FairWear Campaign has organised many actions and demonstrations to put pressure on the big retailers to sign the Code and make sure that homeworkers are treated fairly.

In addition to these nation-wide organisations, Asian Women at Work supports women homeworkers through giving them an opportunity to meet and providing training and education.

Homeworkers Worldwide – Australia has been set up to coordinate action on homework, in whatever country they are working.
