A homeworker in Nepal manufacturing Pote, the traditional necklaces worn by married women.Home Based Worker Concern Society (HBWCSN) as set up in 2001 and has been organising homebased workers in two main parts of the country: the Kathmandu District and Sunsari District in the East.

HBWCSN organises homebased workers in small, local savings groups and has set up a women’s cooperative and trade union. Homebased workers affiliated to the organisation can get a certificate from the local government recognising them as workers.
